Hello Llaget’s Family,
I have great news! Today I would like to announce that my latest book, The Boy with Hearts for Hair is now available for purchase on Amazon.com! Follow Anton through his first day back to school and find out what it takes for Anton to stand up to the meanest bully in the entire school – Terrible Tammy. This book shares the importance of self-acceptance and having self-confidence.
I love my characters so much and I literally become ecstatic at the thought of their stories reaching more children and positively touching more lives. If you haven’t already purchased the book, this is the perfect opportunity to snag a copy and have it at your doorstep for a special little reader in your life.

Hello Llaget’s Family,
I hope all is well. In this newsletter, I have a few things I would like to share with you. So here they are in no particular order.
Oakley Elementary School Visit
I had a great time visiting one of the most AMAZING schools in Georgia, Oakley Elementary. I got a chance to read, The Boy with Hearts for Hair, answer questions, create a dialogue about self-acceptance, and pass out COLORING SHEETS from the book! Thank you to all the teachers and students for inviting me into their classrooms. And thank you to Ms. Lockridge and Ms. Cammllarie for making this event possible. Click on the picture below to see more.
Recently, my good friend Jill interviewed me for her website, Real Answers-Real Authors. I was excited about this interview because Jill deals with a lot authors and inspiring authors. Her website provides plenty of resources and answers many questions one may have on creating a book. So if you have a book in your heart and considering publishing, I invite you to read the interview and also look around her site. (Click here for Interview.)
National Library Week
From April 13th to April 19th, 2014, it will be National Library Week. As many of you know, libraries are very important to me. I will be participating in National Library Week by visiting Forest Park Branch Library this Monday, April 14, 2014 as part of their “Spotlight on Local Authors” event. I will be there at 7pm to do a book reading/signing for The Boy with Hearts for Hair. Please come whenever you can, as there will be authors throughout the day presenting. Call Forest Park Library at (770) 347-0160 if you have any other questions about this event and/or other things going on for National Library Week.
Okay, I believe that’s all for now. Have a great weekend!
